Or, perhaps you could trust us and God to figure it out on our own. There is something incredibly off-putting in the assumptions of this article, that you guys are right and we are wrong. It seems so arrogant to us that anyone could actually believe that out of all the gin joints in all the world, the only spiritual truth just happened to walk into their's.

Great post...this sounds like a great book. It's encouraging to see people taking a more research-based approach to understanding people's conceptions of God and/or Christianity instead of limping non-believers or leavers into one category. In fact, I'm a firm believer that this approach is the approach of grace and love.
